When Mansson KK in Kobe and Elekta AB in Stockholm established a Japanese joint venture, Elekta Mansson KK, in 1994, we employed Mr. Per Knudsen as consultant with the function of Interim Marketing Manager. He continued in that role until the end of 1997 when Elekta found a permanent solution. Per also did consulting jobs for Mansson KK itself.

In order to further penetrate the market, we needed Japanese Government health insurance for our main product, the Elekta Gamma Knife neurosurgery device. Per was deeply involved in these negotiations with the Japanese authorities and the Japanese medical community, and we succeeded in obtaining a very satisfactory solution that allowed us to expand our sales. Per was also involved in the launching of several new medical products such as the Neuromag Magneto Encephalograph (MEG) device. These types of products require complex project management.

I can say with confidence that we were very satisfied with Per's services.
